Natural rattan rewards a light touch. Simple, regular care helps preserve the weave, tone and quiet beauty of your piece.

Caring for natural rattan
Protect rattan from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive humidity and harsh weather. Over time, these conditions can fade or dry the weave and encourage mould.
If used outdoors, place your piece in a covered, well-ventilated area away from rain and intense sun. Bring it inside when it is not in regular use.
Dust gently with a soft cloth. When needed, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow the piece to dry fully before use.

A simple rhythm
Turn or reposition woven pieces occasionally so light falls evenly across them and the natural tone develops consistently.
Always lift rather than drag. This protects the frame, the weave and the floor beneath it.
Keep rattan away from direct heat and strong air-conditioning. Stable conditions and good airflow are all it asks for.
